Roaming happenings of border-crossing
The border could be anywhere. Wherever Haworth + Hayhoe decide to set up their slightly absurd and playful installation, small, improvised border acts are performed in collaboration with each crosser. The crossing of the border becomes thus a performance site, questioning the arbitrariness of national and international borders and the line between ‘here’ and ‘there’. By subverting the conditions of a border at Fortress Europe, Haworth + Hayhoe take a bit of the terror away from border crossing, and replace it with something thoughtful, something funny, something human. Your passport please!
