In the second of her Afrofuturist performed-lectures, Kapwani Kiwanga explores the history and future of gender and its effect on the development of intergalactic societies in the wake of the voyages of the United States of Africa Space Agency. Cyborgs, gene traders, American sharecroppers, and the writings of Octavia Butler are all activated to create a space where archive meets its future.
