Antoine returns to the south of France to find an old house to move into. One afternoon in August, as he is leaving the Cavaillon train station, Antoine encounters a solitary tourist behind the wheel of a camping-car. He is desperately looking for a gas station. Antoine agrees to help him find it, but both men break down in the middle of nowhere, they are out of gas. It’s the beginning of their wandering. Antoine and Jacques get acquainted and become friends. Catherine, a young woman on the run, moves into the camping-car and thus forces them to continue their trek. Nils De Coster’s first feature film shows the improbable convergence of three characters, each with their own motivation, in that atmosphere comparable to the filler scenes in pornographic films.
