Gob Squad is a collective of German and British artists. Since 1994, they have been performing, making films and installations. They are presenting their last 2 projects at the BBI: Super Night Shot and Room Service. Room Service-Help Us Get Through the Night is a nightlong live interactive movie. A hotel, four rooms, and four people who can't sleep. They kill time in a cold bath, inventing imaginary friends or confessing their secrets to the camera. They dance and raid the minibar. In a room of the same hotel, the audience watches the show live on large monitors. They are then invited to answer the actors' questions on the phone, maybe to go to the rooms. After Super Night Shot, the interactive film Room Service keeps the theme of loneliness, this time more intimately. It shows lost people dreaming of love and celebrity.
